Responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit risks on moderately complex loans, working within guidelines established by the company, and under the supervision of Credit Administration. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze all types of credit information pertaining to diverse types of loans
  • Assist in development of credit information packet for use by senior credit personnel
  • Review and conduct analysis on moderate to complex credit requests
  • Prepare Moody’s spreads to support loan requests
  • Develop cash flow analyses on new and existing loan requests
  • Assist in testing financial covenant performance
  • Monitor status of assigned accounts
  • Provide assistance to loan officers or Credit Administration as requested
  • Ensure credit files include current financial statements and other required documentation

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Highly proficient in Moody’s software
  • Intermediate Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to develop cash flow analyses on credit reports
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to prioritize and follow up
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple skills

Industry and Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the same or similar role within the financial industry

Academic:

  • An undergraduate degree is required with focus in the areas of finance, economics, or accounting preferred.
